Throughout the year there is always something happening in Tramore & Waterford City, including many festivals and events and of course the Tramore Races. Some of the major events taking place this year in Waterford include:
 
Tramore Races - (Jan 1st & 27th, March 20th, Apr 4th, June 5th, Aug 19th-19th, Oct 12th, Dec 31st) - always an enjoyable day out at the Races

 
Spraoi Festival - (July 29th/30th and 31st) - is one of Ireland’s most exciting and fastest growing annual street festivals.

 Trá Festival - (July Bank Holiday Weekend) - A weekend of music, song and street entertainment.

International Festival of Light Opera (date to be confirmed) - staged annually at Waterford Theatre Royal since the late 1950’s.

Blue Grass Music Festival - (August Bank Holiday Weekend) - Dunmore East.
